Welcome to Sam's Team!

The Sam Butler Callahan Foundation, also known as the Sam Foundation, is named after a courageous young man named Sam Callahan, and in honor of the many other kids affected by EWING SARCOMA. It is the second most common malignant bone tumor in children and adolescents. Currently there is no cure.

Childhood cancer is the second leading cause of death of children under the age of 18. Yet, research for the disease is shamefully underfunded. However, there are clinical trials on the cutting-edge of cancer research. That's why Sam's family and friends have formed Sam's Team, to raise awareness and fund further research so kids like Sam can lead a long, normal and pain-free life.
