Doing My Part

When I learned how rare Ewing sarcoma is, and how little research is being done on it, I was determined to do something positive to change that. Together with my Aunt Jeanne, we set up the Sam Butler Callahan Foundation.
Our main objective for the Foundation is to raise money for patients and families with sarcoma cancer and fund Ewing sarcoma research. If I don’t do something about it, who will? We have already made significant donations to Ewing sarcoma research. Dr. Pete Anderson, my doctor in Houston, is working on a cure for Ewing sarcoma. I believe that funding his research efforts will not only make a difference for me, but also for kids in the future who find themselves battling this terrible disease.
